We have always had a mental picture of compromise in a positive way. But then i want us to have a view of it in another way. Compromise!. 🤔
It simply means meeting at the middle. A concession; yielding or conceding to something.

We are always faced with core decisions in our walk of faith. Should we behave like the Romans or be Us in Christ?. We have asked ourselves, why can’t I behave like them just to let peace reign?. Why can’t I act like they do too?. Isn’t it just a little shift into their system of doings?. Yes, we might have heard the saying – If you can’t beat them, join them. But what if when you decide to join them, you miss the blessing to be a lifesaver and you as a person get all caught up in it. What happens to you as an individual if all our confessions end up with – being like them, or fitting in?. We weren’t saved to fit into the world system of doings. It’s saddening to see lots of folks who were once strong in faith losing grip of what really matters – their salvation. Sacrificing all just to feel among.

We were not made to fit in my dear. That was never God’s plan for us as believers (as His Likeness). We were orchestrated to be a light; a city upheld on the hills that can never be hidden. Even when it’s the norms, he or she makes a constant decision to stand out for God. A lot of folks are saying – how can I when the pressure is a lot on me?. But that’s the beauty in being a child of God. We can call unto Him – our Abba Father, seeking for the help we need at each and every phase of our lives. It’s a blessing to us my dear, that no matter how tough and hard it can get when making a decision to stand, that He is right there with us.

Read this verses:

1. Jesus was the Son of God, but he still suffered, and through his sufferings, he learned to obey whatever God says. This made him the perfect high priest, who provides the way for everyone who obeys him to be saved forever.

Hebrews 5:8‭-‬9 ERV

With Jesus as our high priest, we can feel free to come before God’s throne where there is grace. There we receive mercy and kindness to help us when we need it.

Hebrews 4:16 ERV

People don’t hide a lamp under a bowl. They put it on a lampstand. Then the light shines for everyone in the house. In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:15‭-‬16 ERV

And formed us into a kingdom [as His subjects], priests to His God and Father–to Him be the glory and the power and the majesty and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 1:6 AMP

So dear, have you seen we have a lot in us that God has bestowed for us to stand our grounds. We were not birthed in the world to conform but to stand out. And the good news is you don’t have to compromise God’s standards for theirs cos God is with you and He will lead us through with the courage and strength that we need.

That’s the message for us. You don’t have to join them, you can always stand out!. He is reaching out to our hearts. You can be Different!.

Do have a blissful week family. 😘😍

Some days ago happened to be our new location dedication for our church parish. We were all excited about what God did amongst the big few. Smiles.💃 And while trying to set things in order while anticipating the coming of the provincial pastors and other ministers who were launching the venue, I was sent on an errand to get something.

And since it wasn’t far from the venue, I walked down the street. As I was on my way back to the church, It crossed my mind that I had stuck to a lane all this while (even when setting out) and I just wanted a change (lol.) but it didn’t end well for me. 😕. As I practically got dirt in my shoe, (my church shoe fa 😂) few steps after crossing to the other lane. I wasn’t taught twice, I switched immediately. And thinking through it, I got spurred to write on it.

Smile.. My story might have been a mere coincidence but then it taught me a lesson. To you reading this write up, are you switching lanes, contemplating on or have even switched your lane or changed course?. Its never too late to reconsider your decision and stick with the path to life in God.

Are you thinking in your heart, it won’t hurt to just get involved with them?. Or even it won’t be a bad idea to introduce a bit of their stuff to mine?. Are you considering taking up their standards against your God-given standards?. Many more might even be the case. But please get back to your lanes. Stop trying so hard to fit into a system you were never made to fit into. Stop trying to look for a shortcut, my dear, it might end badly or worse than you imagined.

Why don’t you trust God for that breakthrough rather than relying in some advice that might take you so off track, it might be too late to take a recourse.

God is calling you and I to maintain our paths in Him. The long-awaited breakthrough is only in Him. Not in some path that looks all smooth but is headed to a dead end filled with so many regrets.

You don’t have to get the dirt on you or go through that pain to learn that God’s way is the best decision ever. God is calling you to stay on track, as the reward is bountiful. And it won’t be for long for it to manifest.

Munch on this:

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:9 ESV

Sometime ago, I wrote on a woman on a mission and surprisingly I got requests to write on the topic for the male folks as well. Smiles.

It’s a blessing you know to have men who definitely know their being ain’t meant to be a norm or for them to be mere men. But men with strength, purpose and valour.

If we look at the men of old. The examples set ahead of us. The likes of Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, Paul, John the beloved etc. Gracious!, they were men of virtue. They sought after God and were found in His confines. They weren’t wandering off men, as they had a keen eye sight and were able to decipher the words of God from that of men. They weren’t men left confused about what the next stage of their lives was and steps to take or decisions to make. They had a stance of God first, and if He is not in it, then the journey is not worth venturing into.

One of these folks I love is Joshua, aside that God has been teaching me a lot from the likes of Him, David (Oh, I love the him – as his life teaches me you can’t be so wrong or seem lost that God’s Love can’t find you), Paul (that man went from Grass to Grace; I’m sure his testimony is such a burden to the coven of the dark world). Not to mention Timothy (He was young but did great things).

And with His life, God has constantly reminded me of: you can’t be too young or inexperienced that God can’t use you. The small but mighty folks…God!.💃

So my dear reader, this might be a short dive into the topic and simple but it definitely carries its weight for you to ponder on and think deeply on these teachings. You can’t afford to conform or accept to being a “mere man” or “vision-less man”. God knows you were made and meant for more. There is so much potentials in you that you need to see, pay close attention to and call the deep out of you. God!, my heart aches as I write this because we have had records of failed men and its on a daily increase. Men who live by what fate brings their way. No dear, you and I know your life was never saved and regenerated for you to remain under the mercies of “fate” but for you to live a grace filled life since you have met with and accepted Christ into your life.

So c’mon get your bearing in place, gear up & get to work. The harvest is indeed plentiful with more lands to cover. Needless I tell you, your home is a mission ground for you as well. And to the unmarried folks or bachelor you are a pillar to many and so, you can’t afford to fail. At home, work, ministry and even on the street, you were made for more. Don’t limit God’s inbuilt potentials in you by being pessimistic about life and accepting the generational trend of what we have termed as “Men”. Let me shock you, real men are only found in God. Not in the beer parlour getting all wasted and living their life in their own shadows. Real men live gracefully and call out the deep in others. They are in-born nurturers. Your father or even other men you looked up to earlier in your life, might have failed in this but you can’t afford to fail. You can’t!. And this decision is yours to make.

So this is a charge to you. It’s high time you get up and man your post!. Depending and trusting God to teach you what and who a ” man” is. Logic can’t place this. Culture can’t place this and Trends can’t define this I must tell you.

I trust that you won’t just read this and get back to your slumbering. The tasks are laid out and its time to get to work. God can still build you up dear. It’s never too late for God to intervene and work your life out according to His Divine plans and purpose.

– God lead your son reading this & help him understand how you want him to live and act.

– God take away the trend and culture veil and let their hearts yearn for the truth only in you.

– Cause them to take up their mantles and man their posts.

– Give every wavering heart courage like you taught Joshua to. Being strong and courageous!.

– To the younger ones who desire to be groomed. God teach them all they need know and learn.

– Henceforth may we have more men of valour rising up to their responsibilities early enough, that they be worthy examples to the seeds that will be birthed through them.

Thank you God. Amen

Smiles… I ended up writing more than I envisaged. 🙈😀

Do have a fruitful week folks. We are on this path of growth together. God bless you. ✌👫👬👭

Matthew 25 vs 29
“For to everyone who has (and values his blessings and gifts from God, and has used them wisely), more will be given, and (he will be richly supplied so that) he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have (because he has ignored or disregarded his blessings and gifts from God), even what he does have will be taken away”. AMP

In the famous parable of the Bags of Gold, Jesus Christ talked about a master that shared talents unequally among his servants, each according to his ability. The parable covers from verse 14 to 30 in chapter 25 of the gospel by Matthew. There are many lessons to be taken from this story and the more I look at it from different angles, the more I learn something new about life. But, I will be focusing on the message I’m trying to pass from the parable which is; “Do not view your life from the position of your weaknesses but always look at your strengths and try to utilize it to the best of your ability”.

Back to the parable, there were three servants and each of them was given some mounts of money by a master that trusted so much on their ability to get work done even in his absence. He gave each of them a huge amount of money – that was worth about 20 years of a day laborer’s wage – for them to work with while he was gone. This money, that they may never have been able to earn in their lifetime, was given to them as a sign of responsibility and trust. It was referred to as talents which are the Greek word for money and can also mean a special ability to do something in English. The master had three servants he gave his wealth to which was a total of 8 bags of gold according to the NIV. One he gave 5 bags (talents), another he gave 2 bags (talents) and the third he gave 1 bag (talents). The key thing here is he gave them according to their ability, which means he knows them and he knows what their capabilities are, and instead of sharing it equally among the three servants he gave according to how much they need and can handle.

The first servant who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. The one who had two bags of gold did the same and made a profit too. But the servant with a bag of gold went and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money/talent. To compare this with today’s world, the master gave them talents in different quantity or quality. The one that received the highest talents which is 5 times the worth of a laborer’s wages for 20 years went straight to work and made use of his talents. He could still have looked down on himself and think 5 talents are not enough for him to achieve his dreams. He could have said he needed 6 for the goals he wants to achieve and see 5 as being too small. But instead, he went and worked with what he had knowing he has been blessed with a lot of talents at his disposal. After all, the talents were given to him and he didn’t have to work for it. Maybe he was a laborer too and it would have taken him 100 years of work to earn that amount of money. But he showed gratitude for being entrusted with such a huge amount of wealth by working with it and making twice in profit. When the master returned from his journey he settled accounts with them and asked what they had done with the talents he entrusted them with. The master was pleased with his servant because he had worked and made profit with the talents that were given to him. Because he had been faithful and trustworthy over a little, the master put him in charge of many and called him to share in his joy.

The servant who had the two talents also made a profit with his and gained two more talents, the master also rewarded him like the first servant. The servant that got two talents could have also thought to himself that his master is selfish and partial because he got two and someone got five. He could have thought his two talents were good for nothing, but he didn’t. Instead, he went and put his two talents to work and he made a profit and his master was pleased and he rewarded him.
But the servant who had received one bag of gold came and said “Master, I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you”. NIV

First, he had a wrong perception about his master saying he is a hard man and he wants to harvest where he did not sow. Secondly, he was afraid. Afraid of the talents he was blessed with, afraid he could not make anything tangible out of his talent, afraid of his master and afraid of making a profit for his master.
Then his master replied, “You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.” NIV

The fate of this servant is the same fate anybody that fails to use the talents given to him by God will face. God has given each and every one of us talents according to our abilities, He will help you discover those talents and He has given you everything you need to utilize those talents to the best of your ability. Do not bury your talents like the wicked and lazy servant, questions will be asked of you when its time to exit this world. You will have to give a report of how you spent your life and how you used the talents that were given to you by God. If he had put the money in a bank, it would have shown that he respected the master at least by investing it. The bank’s interest might not yield a double as the first and second servant got, but it is better than burying the money where it will not appreciate but instead be made a waste.

If you remember the famous story of Elisha and the widow from 2 Kings chapter 4, when the widow came to Elisha saying her dead husband left her with 2 sons and debt, and his creditor is coming to take her sons as slaves to pay up the debt. Then Elisha asked her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have of value in the house?” She said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house except a small jar of olive oil.” You see, if she had ended that statement as she had nothing, there would not have been a miracle for her that day; she was able to receive that miracle only because she recognized that she had something even though it was little. There is nothing like little in God’s dictionary. That little is enough to turn her life around if she was willing to give it to God. It only took 2 loaves of bread and 5 fishes (a kid’s lunch) for Jesus to feed over 5,000 people. After she gave her “little” oil to God to help her put it to work, she ended up with enough oil to pay all her debt and she was left with enough change to live on with her sons.
Some people will complain like the lazy servant and say “I was not born in a wealthy family, my parents could not afford to send me to school” or “My parents died when I was 2 years old and I grew up in a foster home, life is a waste when you’re not born rich” etc. This is not to discredit the fact that life is harder when you’re born in unfavorable conditions, but to credit the fact that even in those dire conditions, God has given you talents that is enough to protect you out of that suffering and create a better life for yourself while making use of those talents. That’s why you hear stories about people that are born without legs and they still end up as Olympic gold medallists, some without hands and they went on to become World Swimming Champions. It is when you realize you have enough talents to last a lifetime and put those talents to work that you begin to make such success stories.

One of the reasons the lazy servant went to bury his talents was because he never saw those talents as his own or tangible enough. Yes, they were given to you by God and He expects you to use it for his purpose. But they were tailor-made for you based on your abilities. Don’t be afraid to work your talents; don’t be afraid to go out of your comfort zone. Take on the world and its challenges; it will be an exciting ride yet a fulfilling one.

Always look at your strengths (talents) and look at ways to work with them. You’re good in Mathematics but poor in Physics and Chemistry?. It’s not a bad thing, use those Mathematics to your advantage and become the best Accountant in the world. You’re a good athlete but you struggle in your studies? Use the Athletics to your advantage and be the greatest sportsman ever. Don’t let your inabilities limit you. Your talents are enough. Whatever you do, do not bury your talent.

In essence, everyone has been given blessings and gifts (talents), but some use them wisely while some don’t. To those that use them wisely, more will be given to them until their cup overflows and they have abundance. But to those that ‘think’ they do not have because they have buried theirs, the ‘little’ they have will be taken from them.

A lot of us, when asked this question, would definitely say a Yes!. But then, if you did believe, what do you believe in?. And do you only believe in Him when the road maps seem all clear or the coast is all mist free and the puzzles are perfectly fitted and all seems to be going on just great?

Trust me, it’s a lot easier to believe, to trust and to love when everything is all going smoothly. But have you thought on; what if this wasn’t the case, would I still profess this Love I have for God or would I just chicken out at any glitch in the process.

I was rewatching a movie I had previously seen and the first scene was what prompted this topic. The man in question was the pastor of a church, who was headed to the hospital to pick up a member of his church and his wife. But was stopped on the way by the traffic light and while waiting for a pass to the motion on, a man who was dragging an actual cross stood by the roadside too. A while after, the man with the cross came close to the side of the pastor’s car and asked him: Do you believe?. And just like everyone else would have voiced out a yes, he said his in another way – I am a pastor!. I laughed when he said it though as it did amuse me, like yeah a yes or no would have served it. But the man with the cross was persistent and asked for the second time and eventually he just voiced out a yes. After the pastor’s response, the man then stated: So, what are you gonna do about it?. Yeah, that question is deep and very thought-provoking.

Now back to our discussion, what are you also going to do about it?. Yeah, you!. 👉
Yeah, you believe in Christ, you profess your Love for Him. You seem to be the first to always get to church and all church activities are on your daily routine. But beyond this – What are you going to do about it?. It’s easy I must say to just profess it. But if you and I were to be subjected to face an ice storm, knowing it could be a deadly one if you acted on your believe in Him or make it even known. Or you could stay safe and guaranteed (at least) of a physical safety. I can say we would have a lot of folks going for the latter. I might be guilty of this as well even in my little decisions but then that’s the need for this message. It’s for you and I to buckle our shoes, tighten our laces and quit slacking. Time is fast running out on us and we just keep rolling with the tide; calling it evolution and the new age. 😦 This is a call back to our station post. We are not meant to fit into the world scheme of business. We were meant to stand out. A city set on a hill. (Matthew 5:14).

Comm’on we’ve got to sit up and get our records straightened out. 📝

Believing isn’t just about you professing it. It’s a lot more. It extends or let me say originates from the stems of trying times and persecutions. Believers, as seen and read severally in the New Testament, were called “Believers/ Christians” because they weathered the storms that came in the process. They were ready to give their all to God. Not being scared of that which could only take or consume the physical bodies but not their souls. They trusted God to the height of it. Daniel’s friends are another good example. God!, their response is so faith challenging.

Please read the verses below: 👇🔥

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered King Nebuchadnezzar, “Your threat means nothing to us. If you throw us in the fire, the God we serve can rescue us from your roaring furnace and anything else you might cook up, O king. But even if he doesn’t, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference, O king. We still wouldn’t serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.”

Daniel 3:16‭-‬18 MSG

It’s a challenge to us all (I, inclusive). We are not there yet, but we can have a mind shift and refocus on what really matters as children of God. Yes, He has paid the price for it all. But what are you gonna do about it?. Would you see your neighbor lacking and you continue feeding fat or you continue with the malice act and all sorts that one can think of and you keep on singing – Holy is the Lamb?. 😖🙄

His desire is for us all to Grow Up!. A lot of us have so long lost our identity. I bet people are even shocked when they see you step into a church gathering raising up holy hands. God needs to work on us all folks. Time is running out!. We have to get it right!.

Do have a pleasant time ahead folks. 🙌

I was in the bathroom one morning and the bowl I had with me had a broken spot. The curious me got spurred to fill it up and try to see how long it will take to lose every drop of water that was in it. I later resorted to trying to block the leaking spot with my finger to see if there would be a difference. I guess I was hopeful it would not leak out that much at least or maybe at all. But with all this, I watched it still drip out back into the bucket.

Okay, while pondering on all this, I was prompted to write on this. Often times at some point, we recall when we had an existing reliable and fit capacity; full, with nothing catching us off guard. When we had it full and nothing seemed missing in our lives. We heard from God effortlessly and our lives progressed at this pace with so much grace that we were an envy to many cos we were once sound (our spiritual life was top notch, health was great and all seemed terrific). Hmm, but all changed over time and you are left wondering what could have happened?. 😨

Maybe you have leaked out. Maybe your retention capacity of God’s fullness has been tampered with. Maybe you have lost your place with God a long time ago but you just never realized it, till it was too late to recover from it. My dear, it’s not too late to reconsider a repair of your capacity or your life. And it’s never too late to approach Him to mend your broken vessel and put you right with Him again. We have been admonished to… 👇

Munch on this:
Above all, be careful what you think because your thoughts control your life.

Proverbs 4:23 ERV

But this is all dependent on “you”. Do you even see the need for Him to care to your mends and cracks? Do you see the need for God’s Grace to avail on your behalf, in your broken state? Do you believe His Grace can still save you despite how far and lost you have gone in your own ways? Do you believe He is capable of reviving you?

I declare He is our ultimate and He is forever able to save to the utmost. Life became easier for me as an individual when I got drawn to a verse I will state below. I might have seemed all lost at some crossroads and with thoughts of no one seem to care, but in it all, I remember His promise to me via His words.

Read this:
Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

Hebrews 7:25 ESV

Did you read that?. He is able to save you and me to the uttermost. You and I are precious in His hands. He treasures you I must say. But you have to let Him care to your hurts, pains and mend your broken vessel. Remembering the You inside is what shows forth outwardly. So if you let Him heal you within, you will learn to love again. And embrace Grace knowing His worth has made you worth every bit of it. 💃

I love you but He does much more. 🙌

Do have a blissful week folks. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

A woman built through her crises.

A rose brought forth out of the thorns.

A blessing to the hearts that she’s amidst and afar of.

A spring of words of truth and hope.

Her life is born out of total submission to His lordship.

She doesn’t joke with the things of her Lover (God).

She seizes every opportunity to share His Love.

And by her loins are the girth of Truth and life.

She is an embodiment of His Grace.

A channel of life.

And a brook of so many wonders.

She is simply defined Amazing in all sense of it.

……Come along as we journey on who this woman is. Why is she on a mission?. Who assigned her to this course and what is her take on all these.

A woman on a mission. I don’t know if you’ve ever been around a soldier or even watched any military related movie (my guess is a yes; at least once!). When the soldier (he or she) is sent or assigned to a task. There is simply no looking back but a forging ahead. The mantra is – looking forward with gaze set on the task, as it has to be done!.

The woman on a mission is also seen in the light of this. She knows God has called her to a bounty, and not just that, but to the nations. She doesn’t sleep or slumber off without fulfilling that mandate. She upholds the truth she knows from her master (God). She knows she has been called and He who has called her has Graced her with all the strength she needs. She is not running from her call instead she embraces it, with all sense of duty. She is a pillar and though she might get tired at some point, She seeks not to fail the lives she is a pillar to, but seeks to maintain her stance on the pillar of all pillars and the rock of all ages. She knows her God would never fail her or leave her stranded on the war front. She trusts that He had trained her and is still training her and won’t quit until the task is effectively put to rest and achieved.

Her glory is In Christ and her stance is on the Word. She upholds the truth and never doubts wisdom when she meets with one, as her ears are sharpened to hear the wisdom of the ageless. He spurs her to act and she yields to His stirring up with no reluctantly. She is an emblem of truth and compassion. No one leaves her company without an addition. She bears so much aura and has a charisma no one can gainsay.

Her replica can not be traced. As She stands as an entity – Unique; and above all, her God given built is one of its kind. She knows her God and stays strong in Him.

Just a brief on who she is. She is an entity representing Christ on earth. Her life is a watchword to many generations. Her aches and pains are not needless hers but are borne out of love for the lives in her care. She never slumbers on her duty, but is watchful and on guard for the souls she has been called to serve. She understands service as a being and not just as an act. She knows her reward is Heavenly and cannot be revoked.

God bless her heart as she is indeed one of her kind.

To as many that are reading this write up, it’s a wake up call to you. As I got spurred to type these out, I got challenged myself. And I know it’s a word in season for us all.

To the men reading this, I challenge you to be men on mission as well. Grounded in truth and loving God endlessly. Knowing the only sacrifice you can give back to God for all His sacrifices over you is – Yourself; Your life!!!.

God bless your hearts folks.
